PANEL 1:
A congressional hearing within Washington D.C. in 1954. Along a congressional bench sit several men upon the committee. They include: Estes Kefauver, Thomas Hennings, William Langer and Robert Hendrickson. Hendrickson is technically the man in charge, but Kefauver was a prominent figure in these hearings and shortly thereafter, took over the committee. General Counsel Herbert J. Hannoch is also present. Photographs of these men are easily obtainable with a quick google search, though the accuracy of their likeness isn't terribly important.

Across from the committee members, sits EC Comics publisher William Gaines. Again, photographs of Gaines during this period are easy to find. Gaines is seated at a small table, slightly lower than the committee's bench. He is nervous and flustered. Senator Kefauver is grilling Gaines about his comic books' effects on children.
